Beamind spun off from the CEA/LETI (http://www-leti.cea.fr), France, in Nov. 2002.

Beamind develops, produces and markets the world's most advanced hi-tech equipment for the Electrical Test of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Specifically designed to address today’s bottleneck of cutting edge electronic product, which is testing IC Package substrates (FC-BGA, PBGA, SiP, MCM)

Beamind’s innovative Laser Direct Testing (LDT) technology enables customers to fully test the most complex PCBs produced in the world, contributing to consolidate their leadership position in the industry.

The Beamind Team has in-depth scientific and engineering background, leveraging their multi-disciplinary knowledge, talents and skills in numerous disciplines including software, algorithms, physics, laser & optics, electronics and precision mechanics to develop and provide hi-tech solutions and technologies designed to meet customers' long-term needs.

Beamind maintains its primary research, development and manufacturing facilities in Grenoble, France.

Steering team
Emmanuel Turlot, PhD, CEO
Emmanuel has 20 years of operational and strategic experience of the equipment business in Photovoltaic, Flat Panel Display and Semiconductors.

He has been General Manager in Thomson (FR), CEO of Unaxis-Nextral (FR) and CTO of Unaxis-Semiconductors (CH).

He has hence managed high tech international operations and is familiar with business practices in Asia.
Jean-Jacques Aubert, PhD, Founder, VP Supply Chain
Engineer, Jean-Jacques has started its career with the CEA Grenoble/LETI in 1979.

From 1999 to 2002, he served as program manager for the opto-electronical micro devices, including microchip lasers, integrated optics on silicon and MOEMS, at the CEA Grenoble / LETI.

Jean-Jacques has joined Beamind as a founder in 2002.
Laurence Fayand, CFO
Laurence Fayand has 17 years of international experience in Financial and Accounting positions.
She graduated from EM-Lyon (MBA) and in Advanced Accounting.

She served 2 years for Ernst & Young, 9 years for HP where she hold management positions in Cost Accounting and European Business Finance , then joined Alditech as Chief Financial Officer.

In 2004 she co-founded Crocus Technology, a CEA and CNRS spin-off in the MRAM business where she served as CFO.
